The Brownie Story
The Brownie Post is a very special part of ‘And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon’, an established bakery and Tearoom on Burton Road in leafy West Didsbury, Manchester
We’ve been hand-making all manner of cakes and bakes for over ten years now from our (posh 5-star food hygiene rated!) commercial kitchen tucked away at the back of our Tearoom…
The Baking
Our brownies are made fresh-to-order in our lovely Manchester bakery using very nice ingredients indeed. We use organic flour, free-range eggs direct from a local farm, Belgian chocolate and fair-trade sugars.
Famously Good Brownies
Baked by hand using only the best ingredients, our brownies have been flying out of our bakery and café faster than we can bake them. They have even featured in Selfridges, and foodie-bible’s, Delicious Magazine and Olive Magazine.
So for those of you unlucky enough not to live in the great city of Manchester (!), we decided to launch The Brownie Post so we can deliver our famously good brownies direct to brownie lovers nationwide!
Ordering Online
Ordering Your Brownies
Ordering is easy. Just take a look at our shop page, choose a box of brownies (or lots of boxes!) from our huge range of delicious flavours, pick your dispatch day, add a message and then pay using your credit or debit card. Simple!
Lovingly Packed
Our brownies are lovingly packaged up in cellophane, white paper and ribbon, then carefully placed in a very nice little box that looks fantastic and even fits through most letterboxes.
If you’re sending the brownies as a gift, not only do they look great, you can also add a short personalised message to the lucky recipient! And if they’re just for you, why not write yourself a wee message saying how brilliant you are!
Tracked Delivery Included
Orders are baked and dispatched 5 days a week, look out for a confirmation email to let you know they have left our kitchen and are on route to the lucky recipient. Order on Saturday and we’ll dispatch on the Monday.
Your Brownies Arrive
Once you (or you lucky friend) receive your box of brownies you can eat them straight away! They are great on their own, out of the box or for an extra gooey treat, slightly warmed in a microwave. Our customers love them served in all kinds of ways, but we’re particular fans of a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream, a dollop of clotted cream, or even whizzed up into a deluxe milkshake!
The brownies can be stored in an air-tight container and eat within 5 days.
